Flooding in Honduras A boy eats in his home after Eta.

Imagine what you would do if you were stranded on the roof of your house for a week without food or fresh water. What would you do?

Helping the community

For more than 20 years Kids Ark International has been sharing the love of Jesus Christ with the people of Honduras. Today we are joining others in a time of humanitarian need in the aftermath of Hurricane Eta dropping 35-40" of rain on central Honduras—again mobilizing food, water and medicine distribution in Jesus’ name. Sharing tangible gifts can help turn people away from the feeling of hopelessness so they can begin to focus again on the task of rebuilding their lives.

The residual aftermath of flood waters and devastation often leads to routine cuts and scrapes becoming infected… desperate people consuming contaminated food and water… the prolonged risk of dysentery, bacterial infections and parasites lingering on long after the water subsides.

Children sitting on a step

Honduras will again have thousands of internally displaced families forcing the government and the international community to start building refugee camps similar to the those still in place 20 years after Hurricane Mitch.

That’s why the need is so urgent today.

We all might not be able to GO but we all can GIVE. Kids Ark International is asking for your help today. You can be a part of this massive humanitarian relief operation. We are boldly asking God to provide $100,000 this month.

Delivering humanitarian aid

In faith we have began sending seed funds and have committed verbally to cover the cost of thousands of pounds of food, water, medical items, cots, cushions, blankets,Prepping humanitarian aid towels, clothing items, shoes, sandals and basic toiletries.

Will you join us today to help meet this urgent request?

Make a difference today by giving.
