Welcome to Kids’ Ark International

We are Randy and Kandie Herring. After Hurricane Mitch devastated Honduras in 1998, we came from central Florida to help rebuild homes, schools and churches. Because of the great number of youth in Honduras, we prayerfully felt led that we should continue our work, filling a tremendous need by building Kids' Ark International Youth Camp. We've now worked in Honduras for 8 years and feel our lives are a permanent part of Kids’ Ark International Youth Camp. In Honduras, you can see the need in the lives of the youth everywhere you go. We want the youth of Honduras to have a place that they can enjoy that will permanently change their lives.

Our ministry is designed to help the youth and children of Honduras, who comprise nearly one-half of the nation’s approximate eight million citizens. Many of these young people live in poverty and have little hope of a future. The need for this type of ministry in Honduras is critical. Kids’ Ark International Youth Camp will be a place of hope and training for Honduran youth and adult leaders. Because of your faithfulness, thousands will testify Thank you Lord, for changing my life!
